Seasonic Focus GX vs Antec HCG Pro plat

Hi,

Final component on my build here.
Originally I wanted to order the Seasonic Focus GX following some advice from the helpful members of the forums, but it is on pre-order. I contacted OC and they said they have no ETA which is a bit frustrating.

So from what I read around, the Antec HCG Pro platinum is similar to seasonic but what about the noise level?

The build is white, and I don't want a lot of noise. I saw that the seasonic one has a Cybenetics Noise Level of "A-", while antec is unrated.
The platinum vs gold is only 2% efficiency which is a bit underwhelming of a difference.

So, Should I order the Antec or wait on the seasonic?

Seasonic consider the Vertex to be a higher model than the Focus and the HCG Pro is derived from the Vertex.

So, I suspect the HCG Pro's platform is superior to the Focus and that is what I'd buy.

Yes, gimme a cookie (JK).

FYI: the latest version of the GX (v4) was reviewed at hwbusters (here) and it wasn't that complimentary. Not a terrible PSU by any means, but not sure it improved on the previous model.
