Hi all, well i need new power supply for asus gtx 970 and im not 100% sure if this Seasonic M12-II EVO 520W is enough to be "comfortable" with video card under heavy load? my CPU is old Phenom II X4 965 BE, but so far such as for exemple games Far Cry 4 etc etc has been fine no problems at all even with that old CPU i mention above.
Now im not kinda of guy who will OC card or CPU any other stuff etc so as im abit tight regarding budget around 60£ to spend in new power supply, but i might be able to add little bit more for the Seasonic M12-II EVO 620W instead.
1 last question Seasonic M12-II EVO 520W is silent/noise in overall?

Thanks in advance
Merry Christmas to every 1 ;)

Hello again and ty for the welcome :) yeah i would rather have full modular psu this time.
1 main reason is the asus gtx 970 barely fitted in my case 1-3 inch more i would have wasted £287 until i had money for a new case :(
Anyway i forgot to say this as well apart from i aint going to OC the card or the CPU, no SLI either just single card even in the future.
Already got 2x 4GB HyperX 1600 week ago now PSU then maybe in few months after when i have some money will be new motherboard after then new CPU and ill be done for few years again :D

I know some might laugh (its ok, im poor ive to count every penny unfortunately :() after read my pc specs at moment:
Motherboard: ASUS M4A78LT-M
PSU: Winpower+ 750W
CPU: Phenom II x4 965 BE
Memory: HyperX 1600 DDR3 = 2x 4GB
Case: Thermaltake M9
Video card: Asus GTX 970

The video card alone costs more than the whole PC of mine :D
Anyway in meanwhile if any 1 else wants to give more opinions plz i would appreciate and ty ;)
I will keep eye in this topic just in case more ppl answer.

Thanks both of u pastymuncher & Shivy011

I am suprised your psu hasn't blown up. Winpower are terrible psu's!! You need to get rid of that asap.
Yeah did survive until today bcoz yesterday/sunday 1 of the fans stopped working lol so i had kinda went in "emercency" mode and i bought Seasonic M12-II EVO 620W instead of the 520W and i already put it to work soon i got it today around 1pm and seems very silent PSU infact i cant hear at all it yet :)
The price for more 100W i think was worth it for the extra £5 diff btw the both.
At least i feel a little bit more "comfy" by having sum extra juice in that PSU.

Anyway thanks to all of u ;)
