BFG GeForce 7300GS(not a gamer),
500GB Western Digital Caviar SE16,
Gigabyte motherboard GA-P35C-DS3R,
icyBox IB-351U-B-BL 3.5" IDE,
320GB Seagate Barracuda ATA100
Geil Ultra DDR2 2.0GB PC6400
intel CPU Core2Duo E6420
Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro
ThermalTake Kandalf
X-Fi Xtreme Music 7.1

The PSU should be absolutely fine, they are from a reputable brand and it isn't a hugely demanding PC.

However I'd suggest two changes to your proposed specification, get a SATA hard drive if you haven't already purchased it and do yourself a favour and get a 7300GT instead of the 7300GS, I know you say you aren't a gamer but it costs the same or is cheaper than the other options and is better. :)

so the psu will last me a good couple years yh??..and the se16 is is sata..the seagate hard drive is ata cos that icybox supports it,doesnt support sata

Well the length of time it will last probably depends on any upgrades you do in the meantime (i.e. if you go to quad core + a top end graphics card and watercooling it might not cope) but for the system you have specified currently it is fine. :)

As semi-pro waster says we can't guarantee how long a psu will last, either before a fault occurs or before you out grow it :) But it is a very good psu that will suit the spec in the OP perfectly.

Well obviously the Corsair will last you longer if you upgrade your pc within the lifespan of the psu as you will not need to upgrade it. However the Seasonic is an excellent psu, as well as being cheaper than the Corsair and easily capable of powering your current rig.
