Seasonic versus bequiet
system will be a ryzen, likely 3000 series now with a 4 to be added in later
GFX will be a 580.
Seasonic go for a 54amp rails, bequiet have 4 raisl which can be combined using a button apparently?
I don't really understand the difference.

Is one 'better' for modern system?
Which would people pick?

I would pick a 650w gold for half those prices :D

If I had to pick between those 2 though I would go for the seasonic, 12 year vs 5 on the warranty.

Yeah I dont see value in those vs gold rated PSU's.

I have a seasonic rebranded psu right now, and the fan makes weird noises when activating the quiet mode.

I may have a dud unit but I can only report whats in front of me.

The original seasonic I purchased which wasnt rebranded had the wrong spec on the box which is quite a big mistake to make, some may remember me posting about it, seasonic thanked me for reporting it and corrected their manufacturing.

Don't see anything in that BeQuiet justifying such luxury price.
At least warranty should be normal 10 years to justify high price.

Out of the two the Seasonic is a far better psu. BeQuiet are for the most part vastly overpriced and have short warranties when compared to their competitors.

I wouldn't go with either of them though because for a 650w psu both are overpriced. This is what I would buy right now. It's a very good quality fully modular, Gold rated, quiet fan with eco mode, single 62A/744w 12v rail and a 10 year warranty. No need to spend silly money even with a lack of stock.

My basket at Overclockers UK:

I would get the Seasonic.
I bought an 850 watt Seasonic Focus+ Platinum SSR-850PX last year, use the PC for gaming and I am very happy with getting the Seasonic.

not right now I really hate searching for stuff I suck at it. But it was confirmed to only be a box labelling problem, the label on the psu itself was fine.
