Seated VR games with controller recommendations?

If u have a powerful enough PC msfs can be played with an Xbox controller. Luke Ross vr mods for games like cyberpunk is controller only. I think No Man's Sky has an Xbox controller mode. There will be quite a lot.

If you're PC can handle it, the majority of games available via UEVR. Some are better with motion controllers in hand, but a lot i play work great with a pad. Returnal, Conan Exiles, Hi-Fi RUSH, Pinball FX, to name a few that I've racked up hundreds of hours with controller only.

Chances are if there's a genre you're interested in, there's something available in UEVR that works really well.

Looking at you're sig, you may be interested in this:

They added anticheat, so you need to disable that and go single play only, but it works fantastic. Ride 3-4 also work without the messing around (no ac) as well as the older titles in the moto gp series.

Elite Dangerous, but I think they stopped VR support a while back. Star Wars Squadrons campaign supports VR too.
all in vehicle parts of elite are still in full VR (I have only ever played it in VR other than some very simple stuff on my steam deck watching telly)

the on foot stuff I also still play in VR but it plays as a 2D giant 2D screen . not brilliant but playable.
over all elite is a must have game for any PCVR player imo unless space has no interest to you.

I agree squadrons is worth a look (who didn't dream of flying an X wing or tie fighter as a kid?)

there are loads of games that work ok seated with a pad many are free vr.mods.

mother mod for alien isolation is a must experience tho it is a flawed vr.implementatiom

Doom 3 BFG has a superb VR mod that works on a pad if you want.

some of the early oculus titles were controller based and seated (the rift DK1 l, DK2 and even CV1 at launch relied on a pad and officially we're seated experiences.
try edge of nowhere and Lucy's tale.

Hell Blade is superb in VR the sound really makes it.
yuka laylee has a superb VR mod as well

Thanks for all of the recommendations, a bunch I never would have looked at or considered!

I'll do some research into the UEVR injector as that opens up some interesting titles from the sounds of things.

I've been too chicken to play through Alien Isolation, playing in VR sounds terrifying

Subnautica VR is something I generally wouldn't consider, but being native support and controller looks like a shout.

I have played Alien Isolation. And yes, it's terrifying. And I haven't even played long enough to meet the Alien. I get so tense playing, if I ever did bump into the alien in one those vents, I think I would have a heart attack!!

It's also ruined every other scary/horror game as none of them come close to the fear that Alien Isolation puts in you.
