seating a new HS

i took the AC7 Pro off my 2nd system today because temps were just stupid,but now my HS wobbles even when all pins are securely pushed down.
what i want to know is will it affect the performance if i put a 2p coin or 1p coin under the HS before i push the pins down?

yes as it will ruin the contact between the heatsink and the CPU.. you can only use a 2p or washer when the brackets fit over the top of the heatsink base like on a TRUE or TT
