A friend of mine is looking to upgrade his very old e6300 1.8gz core 2 duo
system .

He has just bought a 5830 and a new 600watt corsiar psu and sammy f3.

I am building this for him and have a rough idea what to buy for his budget , But thought i would get you guys to express you opinions on what to buy also

So basicly he needs , cpu , motherboard , ram

a bit of a shame he already bought the 5830, because we could have easily specced a cheaper motherboard and put a 5850 in the basket instead.

might have been able to save money on the PSU too with the amazing deal thats going on the antec 620W

He has had the 5830 for a few months got it cheap at the time on a daily deal , think it was 70 pound . I bought one two for my sons computer ,its a decent card for that price .

Wont run at games at ubber res but hes only gaming at 1680 x 1500 i belive
