Hi again basically I was wondering would it be worth getting a second 560ti soc, and would my 650w coolermaster 12v run it?

I no that I would have to upgrade my Antec 900, as I don't want the second car to suffocate on the psu

Thinking Coolermaster HAF X

I would ideally like to play bf3 maxed at 1920x1080 and the rest of the new games coming out next year like Metro Last Light, Bioshock Infinite.

If the 650w would not be enough power this looks like a cracking deal

wattage

The 560 Ti use around 170 watts so two would take 340 watts so it depends how many watts the rest of your gear uses

650W is theoretically enough, but you would need a very good 650W PSU to cope with the two cards and im not sure if that PSU is a good enough 650W

Just hold for the 28nm cards, or sell your current GTX560 Ti and get a GTX580 to avoid any possible vram shortage issues in Metro Last Light, if 4A is gonna make it another notorious vram whore like Metro 2033.

bhavv is going to tell you 1GB vram is fine at up to 1200p but keep in mind he regards 30 fps as smooth. I wouldn't recommend you use 1GB cards to play Metro unless you are willing to lower the graphics settings such like AA. Dedicated vram exists for a reason - because TurboCache and HyperMemory can cripple performance.

Not sure about BF3 yet. Wait for more results from beta.

Metro Last Light

wow, just finished metro 2033 today, didnt know there was a sequal, pretty stoked for this now. sorry to hijack your thread. if it helps man ive got sli 560 gtx, it runs metro at around 47 - 58fps all maxed with 4xaa. though im in a situation where i want to swap my 560;s for a single 580, i find 560's have quite a bit of heat, and i have a haf x myself although the problem is that i have a sound card sandwhiched in between them. your best of waiting for the next gen and getting the fastest single gpu solution of that time, no doubt it wont have any trouble. if i cant get a 580 then thats what im going to do.
