I currently run bf3 on ultra settings at about 35-50 fps at 1920x1600, wondering whether getting another 7950 for crossfire will improve my framerates enough to make it worth it... (And would I notice it I suppose).
CPU is a 2600K @ 4.6.

Yeah I am oc at 975 and 1350, that's as high as I can go without a voltage increase.

My average fps is 48 so it's not too bad, only it drops during a firefight to about 30ish and that's when I need decent fps- often I start shooting first but always die, wondering if I'm loosing that split second reaction time that extra frames bring... (And it's not that I'm just rubbish!).

Duh 1920x1200... I've not actually got a magic screen :-P

I'll have a go at upping the voltage tonight, I have the windforce 7950 so temps aren't an issue.

Will also have a play about with the MSAA settings, it's just I like to set everything to max!

I have a Asus P8P67 Pro MB and it does run at x8 with two cards in place, but I've read that this isn't an issue- that x8 is fast enough for the current gen of xfire.
