Second GTX 670 or sell mine and get a GTX 690

hi guys just wodering which would be better to do get a second gtx 670 and put it in SLI or sell the one i have and get a GTX 690 , my current card is an ASUS GTX 670 DIRECT CU II TOP .

Cheaper option and if one card goes faulty you'll
still have one to use

i would get the same again but they appear to hjhave discontinued the TOP versions ?

simply put the games i play im barely getting 40 frames on the highest settings , and it grieves me greatly

What size is your monitor? 2560x1400?! Even Far Cry 3 I'm 70-100fps+ ultra settings @ 1080p. Go for the GTX670 SLI, I too thought about this and I'd rather just go SLI

thats in a 27 inch monitor
Playing arma 2 in highest setting at insane draw distance
i hear loads of people claiming huge fps on ultra but any actual benchmarks online dont show these cards being anywhere near that .and mine definately isnt

So what gtx 670 would ye think would match mine best . Mine runs at 1137 Mhz

You are saying he should get another motherboard instead? I know it comes with a free RC car but that won't make games go faster

Go for any ref style blower card. It will help with keeping your other card cooler and keeping the case cool.

EVGA are great with any problems and active reps here help that cause.

whisper quiet in fairness i never ever hear it . and i cant get another GTX670 Top they appear to have been discontinued or replced

I have a ASUS GTX 670 DIRECT CU II (none TOP version). And i can not hear mine either, case fans are a lot louder. And my case is on my desk close to me.
