Woah just woah

Some utter bargains to be had

Paid £140 this week for a barely used msi of edition and there's a pile sub £130 on the mm

That's got to be the used buy of the year

I agree...if you buy two the performance will smash anything you throw at it for the price.

Damn you 1000 post min for the mm , shud go on how long you've been a member :( im on these forums a couple of times a day since registering but never have any intellectual input

who said it must be intellectual input? just don't spam dailly like 10-20 posts....there's a lot of topic around the forum. 1000 posts should be achieved in 1 year easily.

Bear in mind those super cheap 280x have usually had 4-5 months + 24/7 mining, being flogged to death ones used for maybe a week or 2 with 18 months + warranty are going for a little bit more than the cheap ones

a lot of people are breaking mining rigs at the moment

The mining market has crippled new sales but since warranty is still valid, there is no reason why you shouldn't go for it.

So I'll start by apologising, it would seem buying a mined GPU is not a bad thing. In the event of an RMA, you only get a brand new card. :D WIN WIN

As long as those selling are willing to help with the RMA, which admittedly most are. It can be down to paying a little more and less chance of faffing with an RMA or going cheaper and may have a greater chance of an RMA and the associated down time.

Just picked one up myself for a little bit more than listed in this thread but given it had 1 week mining I'm happy its not been flogged to death for extended periods and the seller is happy to help with RMA so i cant complain.

I was shocked at the prices as well!
a lot of the mining ones were under volted running 100% fan speed, so going by the time they have been used I would take a punt on one personally, I'm sure they still have plenty of life left.

I'm in a dilemma - trying to decide whether I should crossfire a R9 280 with my current 7950 or go for a R9 290 / 290X or 780

If I only had access to the market then I would probably already have decided to go down the crossfire route for the first time... :(

got my eye out for a second msi oc edition now,

really would be rude not to at the prices they've dropped to

hoping to put a pair of 280xs in my rig with warranty for under £280 :)

fantastic performance for the price

i'm sure if you watch what your doing you could pick up a pair for £250

geez

just seem someone selling 2 brand new 280x unused cards for £140 a piece.

lot of cheap 290s and a few 290x doing the rounds too. wonder what this will do to team green prices?
