Second hand 280x prices

I have all my 280X cards up for sale in the Members Market for £135 or slightly more for the MSI ones. They have been used for mining and I'm honest about it, but as other members have said, they've been kept cool and under volted significantly. They all have warranty so if there were any issues I'd be able to fix them.

As people have said, SOME of the mining bubble has burst hence why GPU's are now going cheap. The same happened with Bitcoin when ASIC miners came out, the only difference was that at the time the whole mining concept was still so new that it wasn't on such a big scale.

Where does the MM become visible? I've looked but can't see it, so don't think I'll be in luck until I've made about another 750 odd posts

It'll be at the bottom of the base below the Crypto Currency & Mining forum.

It's possible to pick up a used R9 290X Tri-X second had for considerably less than a brand new Reference 290.

Looks like I'll be waiting a while. Still tempted to pick up a new R9 280. Might have to check available power connections on the PSU and ditch a couple of the older HDDs...

Do graphics cards come with the required 6+8pin connectors? - I think that's what they use...
