Second hand games - Multiplayer key. ?

When buying second hand games on disk such as Call of Duty is there any problems with the key/serial with online MultiPlay. ?

yes,k because them, mp for cod etc doesn't need the CD so the guy could sell you the disk then keep on playing online with the key so you couldn't use it, or the key could have been pb banned for hacking etc.

only buy second hand mp if you know and trust the guy.

If i can trust the guy is the key tied to any player name or email address. ?

Be careful about more modern multiplayer games like MW2 or Bad Company 2 as the CD key is tied to an account (Steam in MW2's case) and can't be transferred.
