Second Hand i5\i7 or New

Hi All,

I used to post a fair bit but lost my logon details but not to worry, recently built a entry level system from parts floating around as per signature,

While very pleased playing games 1080p at med to high, finding the CPU esp in GTA5 is maxed out while the GPU is running at 65 to 75%,

Or I'm I better just off buying new (£320 ish including board), Gen2/3 i5's seem to be around the £100 mark i7 £145 2nd hand, value for money wise, at somepoint a more powerful GPU will go in,

Mem is 1600mhz and current board is the 1155 socket,

Any advice is great,

Find a 2600k/2700k and you'll be sorted for a good couple of years i'd say. You can pick them up fairly cheap.

CheapER. The 2600/2700ks are holding their value quite well because they overclock so well

As said above get a 2500k 2600k 2700k 3570k 3770k depending on what mobo you have and possibly a bios update. They are still great cpus
