I'm looking to buy myself a router to replace my BT HomeHub.
I originally had a HH3 & Modem combo - worked OK. Then I purchased a HH5 from BT for what was a good price.....and regretted it.
Complained and BT refunded me and told me to keep the HH5 - wow, nice of them.

So, I'm looking for a replacement router for the HomeHub. I only want the router, I'm happy with the Openreach modem and having two units (allows me to reboot the router without dropping the connection, which I do like).

Would like GB networking, so about 4 ports. Easy to use - I don't use any major features, but like an interface that makes sense!
Also wireless is important to me. We have a couple of phones, tables and laptops that want to be able to connect wirelessly from around the house. So anything with known good wireless would be preferred.

I'm not neccessarily looking for a new router - I'm very happy to purcahse second hand. So which would be a good router for me that should cost me around the £50 - £60 second hand.

Cheers chaps.

At the top end of my budget both of these routers would be possible - the TP-Link new and the ASUS second hand.
Would either one of these be "better" than the other?
Specification on them sounds good. ASUS I am familiar with, TP-Link less so. I am using some of their powerline adapters which do the job.
