Has anyone managed to successfully sell a copy of this??

I took mine in to a competitor a few days ago as its been rotting on my shelf since release and I got an email last night from a fella thats purchased it, but can't play it without my EA account. I know for a fact it says in the manual you can have more than one account per installation.

This is the last straw for me with EA. I bought this overhyped piece of **** on release and was pleasantly unsurprised to find myself having one of the worst gaming experiences i've ever had. Why should I, as the consumer be punished repeatedly for making the mistake to buy their product? I'd have thought they would actually appreciate the business!

If I can't retrieve my EA account (also linked to my ps3 copy of Fifa09) i'm going to go mental. Don't think an angry email will get me very far though

Mines sat on shelf still also..... was way overhyped and wasnt like any of the videos i have seen before luanch

Give them a call, EA have a UK support line.

I had a problem with crysis's SDK on vista 64 which only happened with the digital download version.

They were upfront and fast to refund my money no hastle the same day.

Sorry about your trouble. I don't post all that much, but I'll do this now to vent my anger about Spore.

One of the biggest pieces of software garbage I've ever encountered! And after all those announcements and the super-hype and feature promises. It looks like a Nintendo 64 title and plays like a game of Simon.

And I can't sell it on either, for the reasons mentioned above.

And all those glowing reviews too! I can't imagine that any reviewer actually played the game before reviewing it.

I really liked the Cell and Creature stage, but then the game turned into a badly done RTS game lol.

I wish they would bring out a full game of just cell and creature stages.

The creature stage reminded me of an mmo grind, which wasn't too bad. I just hated the lack of depth within the game overall. I agree that at the RTS stage the game started to go downhill, but it SHOULD have been so much better.

I was just annoyed that they went on about how you can make lots of different combinations of creatures but after the creatures stage the features- spikes, wings etc you spent crafting are useless since its just an rts after that and these useful features from the creature stage are just purely aesthetic after that. I know thats what evolution is like but evolution sucks lol
