Second Life Help :(

Hi guys ive been playing second life for a few days now but it keeps crashing and taking me back to the desktop every 10 mins or so! After trying everything to try and sort it out, some one said my virtual memory might be disabled :s How can i check if my virtual memory has been disabled?

I'm assuming you're running WinXP, so try this...

Start -> Control Panel -> System -> Advanced Tab, then click the Settings button in the Performance section (the first one basically) and then click the Advanced tab. The virtual memory section is at the bottom of that page.

I'm guessing you've not got it disabled, as you'd have noticed Windows grinding to a halt whenever you ran out of memory doing stuff other than playing Second Life.

Do you have any error messages in the Event Logger that relate to the SL crashes?
