Second Monitor suggestions

Hi all,

I currently have a monitor XB27HU.

which to be honest i wont be able to afford another monitor close to this to put side by side.

i am looking for suggestions for a decent second monitor to put up on the desk beside this, budget of about £120-150.

monitor wont be used for much other than having netflix/guides etc on beside me while i play games.

Take a look at the Dell Ultrasharp U2412M but have it in portrait mode.

excuse my ignorance but why portrait mode?

Because it's really, really useful. Many applications, particularly Word and Acrobat Reader, work better in portrait mode, and browsing web pages works much better too. You have your landscape monitor for games and your portrait monitor for reference and productivity.

ok i will continue to look around, the specs on that monitor seem good but the bezel is quite thick which is putting me off.

So I took the plunge and bought myself a 27” 1080p monitor and damn I never realised just how nice my xb27hu was until having these 2 set up side by side.

If only I had more spare cash to waste on another monitor.
