Hi all

Im wanting to get a second monitor to go with the PG279Q and also desk mount using the Arctic Monitor Stand Z2 Pro.

Looking at the price of the Pg279Q i don't think i wanna spend that again, so is there a monitor that will go with the one i have that looks similar, what did other people choose as a second?

Thanks.

Just to warn you, when I had a second 60Hz monitor with my 144Hz monitor, dragging stuff to the 60Hz monitor made things look very juddery. I got fed up with it, and had to buy a second 144Hz monitor. I play Hearthstone on my second monitor for example, and the stuttering/juddering was really noticable.

I run two PG279Q's as I've just moved from a 21:9 setup, i'm not sure I could go back to a normal 60Hz monitor now.

Non believers say that there is no difference between 144 & 60hz but even my missus noticed the difference so that is correct for sure. You have to experience for yourself and don't believe what someone says.

Well I have tried going back to a 60Hz for my 2nd Monitor and selling the swift...but no way could I stand looking at it for more than a few minutes , I would say minimum of 100Hz for a monitor , thats just my opinion of course .

so you know how it is when you accidentally buy something.

well i got a second monitor not from Oc because its a bit pricey at the moment, so anyway it came with a English plug, kettle lead and an American plug correct lead for the power box, *****
