Hey guys, i bought a pre built system for OC bout 2 years ago its an intel core 2 duo e6600 @3.2ghz, 2gb cellshock memory, 8800gtx and 500gb wd hard drive, now ive seen this pre made bundle http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=FS-180-OK&groupid=43&catid=1445&subcat= and was goin to get this for my other half but since its been a while since ive looked at pc's im wanting to know how it will perform compared to my current rig? if its a better set up i may get this for myself and give the girl my pc, i use the pc for gaming mostly at 1920x1080, what do you guys think? any info or comments are appreciated..............

Compare to you current rig is almost the same – if you change you VGA for something more powerful – you will beat this AMD. Stay with you current system, only upgrade video card. If you thinking about second rig, look for i5 or i7 system.
If you wish to look AMD, look at least for

Thanks for that m8, not that fussy for AMD really always been an intel guy just that this looked like a reasonable price for a new system just wasnt sure how it would compare to the current rig, when i got my system 2 years ago this cost me over £1200 its weird how a new system only costs £400 now for what you say is almost the same, guess pc compnants are getting cheaper? can anyone recommend a pre built system thats say a bit better than my current setup as im totally out of touch with what gpu/proccessor is good at this time? im looking to buy in the nxt couple of weeks.................

How do you feel about putting it together yourself?

Does the other half want to play games, or would she rather it be quiet and small?

I'm thinking in terms of cannibalizing your current machine for parts, then replacing the removed parts with better ones.
