My second router (connected through to main router via powerline) only works wireless and barely works on LAN

I have to reboot the router every 30m or so in order for LAN to access internet, wireless is fine however and dont need to change. The secound routers ip has changed to avoid conflict with source router and I have disabled DHCP as well.

Remove the Powerline connection from the equation as a first step.

If it's still broken using a wired connection between the routers (unlikely) post back with full details of the configuration.

Why do you need two routers, this needlessly adds complexity to what is a simple home setup.

If you need more wifi coverage, run network cables to each area that you want wifi in, then buy wifi access points.

You could get PoE kit, which will provide power to the access points through the Ethernet cable.

Do it properly or don't bother.

Works as a switch as well as a router, it cost a fiver, better than throwing it out hahah
