Iv'e been looking at creating a wireless bridge for my home, but in the mean time I plugged a spare Netgear router I had laying around into an Ethernet cable I had, which was connected to my primary router via a network powerline adapter. Thus making two wireless networks in my house. Now the issue is, the speed I'm getting from the second router is 400+ ping, 0.40 download and 0.20 upload, where as my main router gets about 8 mbps download and 2 mbps upload with about 25 ping. Is this just going to happen because I'm running the second router just off the first one or is there a way around this?
