Second Screen Tearing?

Gigabyte Z68A Board
Core i5 2400
Powercolor 7850
16Gb DDR3 1600

I run dual monitor in clone mode, 23" Monitor and 32" TV, I get flickering and tearing on whatever screen I set to secondary display.

I've tried changing drivers, fresh install, changed PSU, ran screen off onboard GPU and there is no tearing on any screen but you cant clone displays on different GPUs.

Nothing is overclocked and I can't figure it out.

Have you checked the each monitor's refresh rates? You may have to increase one of them (if the option is available)

They are both 60hz.

I've got a 5970 and have a 2D profile set up which bumps the 2D clocks up and stops screen tear.

I've tried that, set the 2d clocks to 3d clocks and still get screentearing.

Have you got Afterburner or something similar installed that lets you watch clock speed? Keep an eye on it when it's tearing and see if it's changing.

In the video I have afterburner on, once I start dragging windows around speed goes up to 850Mhz, which is the 3d core clock.

is yer problem some of the ATI cards have this fault has been this way for few years now and they still not done anything about it takes the ****. I used to have the same card and got the exact same problem changed card = card went away. Google will show it is very common bug with them cards.
