Hello all,

I'm thinking about buying a monitor to go in my new case (Lian-Li PC7)

This is because i'm using my tv as my monitor, and I also use it to watch tv (:p) and to play xbox 360. Therefore I can't use my pc at the same time, such as to change itunes track etc. At the moment i am doing this by switching inputs on my tv which is a pain. So...

Question 1:

I have been looking at the Thermaltake 7" Monitor on the OcUK site. Any one got any cheaper/better suggestions?

Question 2:

As i have said, I would like to view iTunes on the screen and I was thinking of using it was a sort of dashboard with clock, cpu, hdd, temp monitor etc. Any software (preferably free) to do this?

Question 3:

To do the above I would have to enable it in Windows and place the 'dashboard' software onto my second monitor. Correct? Any way to switch the view to the first desktop with one icon?

Sorry this is a bit long, not really done the dual monitor thing before.

Thanks

81 views and no reply? someone must have something to say :)

Don't know anything about touchscreens, and the only people likely to reply are people with them or know how to use them.

81 views includes everytime you view the thread to, so its actually a small number, plus the title is pretty generic.

You might find more useful information using google.

A complete aside, but if it's primarily for iTunes track skipping, have you thought about a g15 keyboard? The current track displays on the lcd, and you can adjust volume, skip tracks forward & back, and play/pause stop just via the controls on the lcd.

I know this isn't what you'd asked, but thought I'd mention it anyway, hehe.

I think that monitor looks pretty cool. How does it connect though?

RocketDock could look pretty cool with a touch screen. Ultramon is a must too, IMO.

More what I was looking for furnace. Interesting about the G15, I will look in to it.

I really wasn't asking for reviews on the screen I have chosen.
