Will it fit in his case when he is done is what im thinking i mean have you seen the length of the card, you'd need a heck of a large case for it. Be funny if he did all the work and he hadn't the room for it.
Looks good, but done to death now, time for a new project??
I used to have the Voodoo 5 5500, many moons ago. I think you should setup business selling custom coolers for current gen graphics cards, you could earn a fortune maybe...
Can you not just leave the side of your case off and blow on it every few minutes? I wouldn't have thought this thing generates enough heat to justify slapping an expensive piece of copper on the side of it. More money than sense perhaps?

As to the heat it may be an old card but so is the 5800 Ultra and blowing on that wouldn't help much. This card is a quad SLi board and so will be packing a lot of heat for the day.
Same could be said of anybody who ever bought an LED fan, cathode tube or side or paid a premium for the top line GPU when a lower one would suffice. At the end of the day this is still the best GPU available for playing Quake 2 and Unreal Tournament (yeah im going for the straws now ) but as one of only 1000 ever made of the first ever 128mb card, first card with non bus power, and first quad sli card I think its cool too see it not only preserved but modified like this.
