i picked this up awhile back for a build I'm working on I've read abit more into them since my friend said he wouldn't touch them Incase of a leak, I looked into it and a few people have had leaks and not very good customer service from corsair, was hoping to get thoughts and alternative options ?

Thank you

If you're worried about leaking then get a traditional air cooler. There's a risk with all AIOs to be honest, although some a worse than others (yes Triton, I'm looking at you :( )

You tend to find with the AIO that the pumps fail before you get a leak with the Corsair ones.

It's the Rajiontek ? ones that are prone to leaking as the thread on here shows.

If your worried the only way is a air cooler.

Thanks for the reply guys will any air cooler do? I'm not planning on doing anything stressful just gaming really thanks again

I've always used Corsair AIO liquid coolers and never had an issue. They rarely ever leak and wouldn't let that stop you from purchasing one because they're are awesome and look really cool especially how to can change colours through the link software. Yeah wouldn't trust the Rajiontek ones. And if you are not doing any stressful gaming I'd recommend something like the Alpenföhn Matterhorn Black CPU Cooler.

Buy one you like the look of if it's going in a windowed case, and make sure it isn't too tall for the case. I've had great experiences with Phanteks, Alpenfohn and Raijintek air coolers. If in doubt post your case and we can recommend some.

I've installed 10 or more over the last couple of years and not had a leak reported yet. From all the corsair AIO range.

I might be wrong but I think Corsair cover you for any damage caused by leaks.

Correct!

We've been selling AIO coolers since 09, leak issue is the least reported cases we've ever run into, they are very rare. But if it happens, we've got you covered (case to case basis).
