Im looking for a midi style atx case as a replacement for an old cheap generic case im currently using for my second system.
The main requirements for the case are
Needs to accept 120mm + Fans at the front and rear of the case
Must accept a full ATX mobo.
Have room behind the mobo tray to hide cables.

Optional extras ( i.e. would like to have in it )
Room for more than 1 fan at the front
removeable 3 1/2" drive rails (the ability to remove them from the case altogether as they will not be required)
lower mounted psu
120mm fan mounts in the roof of the case.

All this for as little money as possible say Max £40
being scottish i have very deep pockets and very short arms LOL :D

on that budget theres a very limited amount of cases to choose from...

Ive been looking at this one

I ruled this one out as by the time i pay delivery it comes to just shy of £65

I ruled out all the asus case's as they are all ugly

well i think ive just solved my problem
Just got a Fractal Design R2 from MM for £55 a bit over budget but it ticks all the boxes in my must have list and most of them in the optional list.
The only thing im not sure of is if the 3 1/2" drive rails are removeable, without drilling out some rivets

You'll be able to remove the hard disc trays but you'd need to cut out the bits they slide into to make the area completely clear. Imo you'd be mad to do this as the airflow is fine with them in.

That sounds fine if they slide out, as for cutting the bits they slide into out i wount need to as i just want the rails out of the way for better airflow.
this should allow me to use very low RPM fans and keep the noise down to practcaly nothing without having to damage the case.
Also means if i need to replace the rails to use them then i can
