Secondary Monitor help!

Hello OCUK. I've been playing around with some DAW programs, Record etc. What would really help me is a secondary monitor to display for example, the sequencer, or the mixer, so that I have more space to dedicate to the sequencer and rack. I have a Hanns-G HG281D 28" monitor, 1920x1200. Is there a monitor calculator or something so I can see what size monitor i need to have so it can be side mounted at 90degrees.

For calculating sizes there's TV calculator. I think you're assuming there's more constraint on multimonitor setups than there really is. For a setup that spans multiple screens (i.e. not just cloned displays) you can have a mishmash of resolutions and orientations to suit your needs.
