is a car de-icer kit a funny secret santa pressie. i thought it was funny at the time when i was picking it but now it doesnt seem funny.... at all. its for a girl in my office

I played secret santa with the other teaching staff in China and I really struggled to think of anything for the geeky-looking teacher from Florida. He was so quiet, reserved and serious.

The day came for everyone to open their gift, and he unwrapped two lovely porn DVDs which really don't suit his character. Everyone burst into tears laughing.

He got quite angry though, and totally took it the wrong way. Everyone knew it was me, except him, and I had to tell everyone to keep their mouths shut for actual fear of my life.

A de-icer kit for a girl isn't funny at all, to be honest. How old is she?

Depends on how well you know the person - to give a good gift you do have to know what their personality is like.

For example, in my flat a few years ago i was always fixing bits and peices - so received a full plastic Bob The Builder toolkit + Hardhat.

The funny guy in the flat recieved a leopard print thong.

Best to keep it as least serious as possible - I don't see how a can of De-Icer in the middle of winter is funny at all!
