I've got a server that has firewalled Internet access. I want a computer on a separate network, but sat right next to my server physically, to be able to connect to a network share on my server, but securely, from outside the firewall. The problem is that the other computer needs to connect without human intervention so it needs to be a mapped drive. Is this possible?

Do you have the option of using Certificate Services?

It would be the most logical choice.

Or do you have the option to use a DMZ, providing its a hardware firewall solution with the capability.

Thanks for your reply :)

Hadn't heard of using certificate services for secure network shares, I'll look into it. I've recently purchased and installed an SSL certificate for https logon to a web app but I didn't know you could establish a network share with SSL (I presume that's what you mean?).

The firewall has a DMZ option port but it's already taken up by a hardware SSL-VPN device unfortunately.
