Secure network shares, select users?

Good Afternoon guys,

With XP Pro, is there any way I can share folders on my network, but restrict who can access them? If there isn't anything built in, is there any software that you are aware of that enables this?

You can just use the NTFS permissions to allow individual users whatever access you want.

yeah, DISABLE simple file sharing in TOOLS, FOLDER OPTIONS (at the bottom) and you'll get the ntfs permissions for it

is there anyway of viewing NTFS security settings in XP Home without going into safemode, would save a lot of hassle
