secure php login

Hi all,

Working on a site and learning php as I go.

The site as it currently stands will simply need one login name and password for everyone that uses the site.

Anyone know of either a good script that can do this that I can read and if needed try to modify or suggest a way of doing this?

It isn't confidential info that it is protecting, its just that we want to limit who can fill in our questionnaire at work!

do they actually log-in or is it just to fill in the questionnaire?

if i'm reading you correctly every user uses the same log-in name ans password?

If it's a straight forward URL and you don't need the username/password to store the info then how about htaccess?

I actually want them to go the the webpage, login using a standard login and are then forwarded on to the main page so they can click the link for the Questionnaire.

I'll look into htaccess, thanks. Its all new to me really!
