Secured PDF Highlighting

As you say it can be printed out so it must not be a long document so this conversion shouldnt take long.
Tools > Select and Zoom > Snapshot tool
that will let you highlight the area then it puts an image of that onto the clipboard which you can paste into a word doc or something.
Or you could take a screenshot
Paste image into a word document.
Create a new PDF from this.
Once in your new image pdf go to Document > OCR text Recognition > Recognise Text Using OCR.
You now have highlightable text.
Enjoy

I had that in college in a programming lession, lecturer put it onto a secure Adobe PDF, and said we couldn't print it off, or sos he thought..
So what I did was open it in Sumatra PDF which was on my laptop which I used to take in to college, resave it as a PDF, transfer back onto the computer and press print.
