Security code for Ford CD player?

Hi guys,

Just checking up on this before dropping in at my local Ford dealer. My battery got disconnected from my car recently after some work and the CD 6000 player is asking for a code to input into it, unfortunately I've never been given such a code.

Would a dealer be able to find this for me if I give them the S/N?

what the M number on top of the radio? (you will have to remove it)

Cant help you with the number but i can help with how to input it. The press number 1 for the first digit however many times in needed, number 2 for seconds digit etc and when you have done all 4 press 5 and it should work.

The thing has only numbers 1 to 7 and my number was 0448 had me confused for a while!

The number will be in the ford manual probably on a sticky label in the back cover ( if you got a manual ) and will be 4 digit.

Hi guys, Invader kindly tried helping but I'm still at square one I'm afraid.

The M number is M156879

It's an 07 Focus, its the same 'model name' CD 6000 as an older style Ford but looks different.

Might have to do some googling, someone may have a more up to date program.

Then maybe you have the serial wrong or the unit has been re coded as 8315 is the correct code for that serial.
