Ok our internet goes through a proxy and filters out various things but if Ive found out that the users have worked out that if they go into IE options and untick the use a proxy box they can do what they want.

Is there anyway I can restrict access to IE options via a group policy? Ive looked but cant find anything.

Thanks, Mark

You problem is that your network is insecure because your default gateway is also your router, so - as you've found out - if your users don't go through the proxy they just go direct to the router.

Put a 2nd network card in the proxy server and put the router on the 2nd card on a different subnet. They then have no choice but to go through the proxy.

Hope this helps.
