My friend’s daughter in Kenya has a web based Yahoo Account, which she uses for study and sending emails. She doesn’t have a home based computer and has to visit an Internet Café’

Recently I received an email purporting to come from her with a list of almost everyone else in her address book. All the addresses were in the “To” box so everyone else could see my email address. The email was drawing my attention to some company or other selling goods (badly written English), there was a link within the email, which I didn’t “click”. If she sends an email to many addresses I’ve advised her to enter each name in the BCC box. Most times she complies.

She did not send this email. I advised her to change her password, which she has done. I’ve also suggested that when she enters her details within the logging on box, she clicks outside the box, enters some random numbers/letters, then enter a couple of the correct details inside the box, then outside and so on in the hope that this would “out-wit” a keylogger. Eat your heart out Alan Turing:)

Does anyone know of a small freeware program that she could use in conjunction with her Transend 4GB Flash Drive. I don’t know what operating system the Internet Café(s) have. Is there something like a virtual keyboard which she could install on her flash drive? Something nice, small and simple to use. She obviously has to pay by the minute and is always "Hard-UP".

Only time will tell if her account gets “hacked” again, if that’s what’s actually happened?

Any advice please?

Thanx
