My mum's just bought me some pyjamas for me as I've got an OP coming up and I'll pretty much be bed ridden for a short while.

She'd bought them from Tesco however they haven't removed the security tag from the clothes. Can I just snap it off or does it contain any form of dye?

They contain dye if you rip them off which will stain the cothes and hands, we used strong magnets to remove them where I use to work, so I assume you could just do that.

Jcb33.

My local Asda, the alarm goes off every time when people walk through it. Nobody comes to check it out. Seriously, so much stuff must go missing through them gates.

I reckon someone could fill a trolley full of goods, in bags of course, and push it through and nobody'd take a second look.

Or not in bags... not everyone uses bags. I've heard of people just walking out with TVs in trolleys... display ones taken straight from the shelf!

Actually, I was there yesterday. Saw a shifty looking bloke (hands in pockets, looking everywhere with a basket in hands, hat pulled over head and ears so you could only just see his face) walk very fast through a self service checkout, places empty basket down, looks around and moves very fast to the escalators to get out, alarm goes off, security bloke does nothing. He was clearly a theiving toerag. Told the security bloke at the desk and he just replied "It was a collegue who had keys in his pockets, thats why the alarm went off". Funny looking collegue, that was in fact about a minute before this bloke went through. Clearly the security doesn't give a ****.

Does anybody else have problems with the original post?

Also who is going to ride you?

My mum went shopping and just thought it'd be a good idea to pick some up for me? I'm going to be in hospital for a few days so I presume she was just thinking ahead.

:p

It is ASDA, nobody cares about anything. :p

I work part time in a Sainsburys at the moment and often have to carry security tags (soft and hard before putting on products) on me and need to exit the store from time to time to get a trolley or whatever. Security guard never likes it when I walk past his booth and out the door. :D
