In my student accommodation atm i have 2 seperate networks;
One Wired/Wireless which has two NAS drives attached to it and is connected to the internet.
I then have a wired network upstairs that my main computer is connected to. Due to having a full load of PCI cards in the PC i cant add wireless network card, so to connect to the internet i have enabled "internet connection sharing" on a laptop which does have a wireless card in.
To give a more complete picture of how i've achived this;
Router:
192.168.1.1
DHCP enabled
NAS1:
192.168.1.150
//001
NAS2:
192.168.1.151
//002
Laptop:
Wireless:
DHCP
Wired:
192.168.0.1
Computer:
192.168.0.2
Gateway/DNS set to 192.168.0.1
So the question is first can i access the NAS drives?
and second how can i access them?
I think if i changed the ip of the wired to a 192.168.1.x number i would be able to see them? But this would also break the internet connection sharing?
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated
