Seeing old version of website?

Can't really explain it:

I'm seeing this \/ Which was before the nameservers was updated.

This domain www.allpurposewar.com should show: http://94.76.223.224/~allpurpo/

How do I fix my PC so I can see it correctly instead of what it was before?

Surely that would just be on the browser only?

Why is cmd showing the IP as the old one before the nameservers were updated instead of the new one? :S
 
ipconfig /flushdns

Your system will remember previous DNS requests so it doesn't have to do it every time you visit a website.

Flush is from the command prompt with the command above.
 
Depends what DNS server you're on and how long the TTL is for the specific A record on the source DNS server. What's most likely happened is that the DNS server you're using has also cached the response for as long as its TTL is valid for. This could be an hour, a few hours, a day, who knows.

Easiest way after clearing all your local DNS cache is to try just changing your DNS servers to an alternative one. Even if it's temporary when you issue a new request it hopefully won't fetch it from older cache.

Your router, if you're using it as your DNS server, might also have the old address cached.

Usually it updates in about 15mins to 1 hour within the UK, but it can take up to 72 hours.
Whenever any project I do requires public DNS records adjusted like an MX record change or something, I allow 48 hours for it to propagate before I do any work that relies on the update having completed.
