Seeing SetiClassic off in style!

Every bit counts, good sah. I'm hoping to get my numbers way up so I can snag my 5,000 WU tiffy before it's all over. I don't want to be stuck with the 2,500 WU tiffy forever.
Looks like i'm in the same boat, i'm going to be a gnats ******* short of my 1000 WU's tiffy by the end. There a slim hope if i get some quick WU's.

Anyone done any recon on the seti germany forums to check whether they are going to react to this? We need to keep it as quiet as possible! :)

ok i'm in!!! 3 dual xeons back on classic.

Awesome, that's some huge computing powah. Are you using SetiDriver to run 2 instances per CPU, 4 per machine?

Also, you might want to set up a SetiQueue server to keep those hungry Xeons busy.

They were due to finish any minute now, but I cant check as I installed it as a service :(

Have just checked the Team Caffiene account again and there have been two WUs credited to it. Not sure if anyone else is using that account other than yourself, so I'm guessing that everything's fine

Well i've switched over to you guys for this.Only one pc i'm afraid @5/6day so not great, but the 6400 units that come with me should help the cause :D

p.s. kudos to Claranet ,who told me that they would leave my mail account active when i parted company with them c 3yrs ago.True to their word ,they have :)

Huzzah, huzzah! With all the switchers coming over from GD today will probably be setting some sort of record. We'll have to watch the stats tomorrow to see how it is.

Wait, I'm confused. Did he leave first then rejoin or did he join first then leave?
It's an old and well-known problem with SETI@home Classic stats that got fixed with BOINC. You can safely ignore it. :)

This is a bit weird.Having the seti client running stops me playing poker at Empire ? It blocks all the table lists - never had a problem with either program before.Ah well,no biggie

Sorry all, I've been unintentionally slacking. I set up my borgs the longwinded manual way as a scheduled task service. Dislexic fyping crept in. One of the HT P4's was setup with a -rpoxy rather than -proxy command. 50% of the CPU was idle.

I've fixed it now, but I will understand if you want to chastise me :(

Serious deja vu going on here, all we need now is slackwort to switch and submit 0 woos and the timeslip will be complete... :p

A few of the noobs (LOL) seem to want to monitor the status of more than 1 instance, a good prog for this is setiwatch which still seems to be available http://members.shaw.ca/mloukko/SETI.html if that don't work, shout up and I'll host it for a while.

got setique still on a pc but no bothered about usin it.

never deleted setidriver off the pc's so just started driver up again.
maximum processes set to 4.

funny how driver hogs up all the cpu power from boinc.

The most recently updated is Seti@Work, but yeah, TPR is probably the best!

Nice work tonight Billy, your hands must be aching after all those pimpage posts :p

Just had a browse with my limited German (German A-level student :p) Haven't found any evidence that our plans have been found yet!

Got a dual 2GHz Powermac G5, a dual 1.8GHz Powermac G5, 1.5GHz Powerbook G4, 3 1.5GHz G4 Mac minis and a P4 3GHz crunching away now... doubt it'll make much of a difference but every little helps :p
