Seeking a cheap and cheerful sub £100 card upgrade

Hi OC folks,

As the title suggest, I'm seeking a GPU upgrade.

Currently have a Radeon HD 6850 that came with my bundle in 2011.

This month I've upped the ram and I have an SSD on the way, but I'm seeking a new GPU to tie me over for another 12 months until the time is right to get a new build.

I saw this 750 Ti that looked pretty decent: https://www.overclockers.co.uk/giga...ss-graphics-card-gv-n75td5-2gi-gx-170-gi.html

I'm just looking for some recommendations on whether this is a good card to pick up - or If I could invest in something better for around the same £100 sweet spot.

Thanks in advance!

If you just want something to keep you going for 12 months then just have a browse in the second hand market.

This is great advice for a temp card. Grab a 7950 (or 7970 if lucky) or a 670 which will massively outperform the 750ti and retain their value far longer.

I've recently bought the passive cooled 750ti and it's great as a silent gpu but as other posters have said a second hand card at that price will easily outperform it. 750ti will do medium -high settings at 1080p whereas a 770 for example will do ultra.
