i recently got a new motherboard cpu and cooler
gigabyte soc force z97x (i used the 8 pin cpu connector here and not the 4 pin)
i5 4690k
hyper tx3
other hardware that might need mentioning
corsair xms3 ddr3 1333mhz(recycled from old)
vtx3d 7950
fsp raidyr 450w
corsair spec 01 with 4 mounted case fans
i was noticeably able to play games happily at 4.5ghz stable with 1.2v with temps varying between 55c and 65c with this cooler but when i ran intel burn test the temps were getting pretty close to 90 and because of that i just decided to set it all back to stock speeds, i wasnt really able to find much basic preset values on this specific cpu to improve the temperatures other than 1.2v being a good set for a 4.2ghz oc, i am mainly looking for opinions of others and suggestions where i could go with this, the main game i do play currently is arma 3 and it heavily relies on a single core being fast, turbo was doing a pretty good job but i would like to get better if i can
