been thinking bout getting one for a while and ones just come up in my area with some good games, but im wondering if it will be a mistake as the fond memory's i have of it will be destroyed reliving it? (graphics and game play)

I still enjoy Sonic 2 massively and regularly revisit other games.

Sometimes they transcend time.

Exactly, far simpler (graphics wise) moronic games generating massive income on mobile devices. some great classics to be relived on old consoles. ca be tricky using them on newer Tv's but not impossible.

How much by the way?

Yup they still work fine if you want to play them. I'd say you're better off just getting the games on xbox live arcade /similar though.

I'd disagree, I bought Super Hang-On on PSN a while back and tbh it wasn't great, though my brother sent me a picture of him playing it earlier and it looked better

thats a decent price ... there was a sega thing available for a while that was just a controller you hooked up to the tv and it had about 15 games pre installed. we got 1 for the kids ages ago and it was only about a tenner.

I sold mine with 23 ish games for 70quid I think so take that for what you will

(none were super high value games as I sold them separately)

For me personally although I love some old school games the new controllers are much more comfortable =p (even if the dpads are rubbish .)
