" SEGA Rally Revo developer closed

SEGA Racing Studio, developers of SEGA Rally Revo, has been closed by the parent company (thanks Blues). The studio was formed to revive Sega's racing ambitions, with SEGA Rally Revo the first and the last title to be developed and released. It seems that poor sales was the main reason behind this tough decision. "

Oh how I yearn for a new Sega console. :(

Nothing has given me the thrill and excitement that I got when I first played Sonic Adventure on my Dreamcast, on Christmas Day. :(

Hmm thats a shame thought the game was pretty decent for a arcade racer but the ps3 versions online part was a bit of a let down for me but graphically it was very good imo

I thought the update was good and if you actually play the original now it looks terrible in comparison, although it was fantastic at the time.

The Sega Rally games were always fun in the arcade but never translated to home consoles well due to the very limited number of tracks and arcade handling. I owned the Dreamcast Sega Rally and I must have played it for less than an hour. There's always been better rally series.

Reports today that code masters have stepped in to save sega's UK Racing Studio which can only be good news for us gamers and the obviously talented programmers that would have otherwise been made redundant.

Would be pretty neat if those Sega guys and gals get to work for codemasters, could get a neat racing game outta the 2 of them. Anyone got a linky to the news??
