sega rally stuttering quick fix

Bought the sega rally pc today have had nothing but trouble with stuttering making it unplayable.

Tried different drivers no joy was experimenting found a quick fix.

Downloaded patch run which didnt fix the problem, but if you go into game start any quick game as soon as you can escape and go to restart seems to take the stuttering away.

Running at 1900 x 1080 no slow down silky smooth now,.
Hope this fixes it for other users , do not post on forums much but wanted to spread the word.

Do you have a 8800 card esp a GTS 320 @?

Restarting does fix stutter at start of races i agree. Probably cos that track and cars are held in memory so doesnt have to load em again.

the graphics card is 8800gtx.

The fix seems to last for about 5 races then it does it again, very annoying hope sega fix this as well as putting in support for xbox 360 wireless wheel.

To be honest when it runs smooth it looks amazing just a shame to have to muck aout with game to get to work correctly.
