Love the mud on the cars

I guess this will be arcade rather than simulation based on previous Sega Rally games.

So with Dirt being arcadey as well, does this mean we're not going to be seeing any simulation rally games?

Looking forward to this, as long as the handling is decent and we get Head to Head multiplayer (none of which DiRT have) then it's a winner. Do we have a firm release date yet?

GT5 will probably be the closest you will get to a rally sim.
Not saying that as an 'ooo look GT5 roxxors' post btw.

Dirt's worse than "arcadey" to be honest. Dirt is more "Mickey Mouse".

Surely Dirt isn't that bad. I have it still sealed at the moment as having too much fun with Forza.

Having said that I did like the pics that were in last months XBOX 360 mag and describing some of the fetaures of the game. Have always loved this in the arcade even though I am pap at it.

I just can't wait to see some of the impressive features such as 3d mud sticking to the cars and then going through puddles and washing it all off.

Either way this will be a welcomed addition to my gaming collection.

Agreed, DiRT's handling, especially the rally cars is very odd indeed. Corner like they're on rails and brake on a six pence, rubbish. Sega Rally's hang that tail out sliding action is mucho fun.

Indeed, especially with six players on the same track at the same time (found it) it's looking like a really decent game. The graphics look nice, the deformation nicer and with Sega Rally's original slidey handling it should be a corker
