Ive never even heard of it, and apparently it was bigger than friends:p
I must have watched friends in the 90's while seinfeld was on, either that or they didnt air it in the uk.
Is it really good, if so ill do some overtime and buy the whole series boxset.

Not really. It's passable, and in comparison to other shows from the same time it was pretty good. It is dated now though.

I completely love Seinfeld.

Episodes like the summer of gorge, and another fav of mine "the switch" (I think that is the name) are amazingly funny to me.

I remember watchin that episode for the first time and having trouble breathing from the laughing. I didn't watch it till a few years ago either... so I was kind of late to the party.

It looks dated but it's still very, very funny. I'd rather watch the middle seasons (4-6) of Seinfeld than pretty much any other sitcom.

It's a shame the BBC decided to show it at 11:15pm on a school night. It deserved a prime-time slot.

I remember when they showed it in that slot.

There were big gaps between series as well from what I can recall even though the various series had been shown in the USA for years.

Will have to watch them all again as I'm sure I missed out the odd episode here and there.

Another huge fan of seinfeld here :)

Absolutely brilliant sitcom from start to finish, Michael Richard's is one of my comedy heroes.

It's one of the best comedy series created. Very well written, great actors (if you've ever seen anyone bar Jerry in or on anything else you'll fully understand, they're TOTALLY different). Jebus, Larry David co-writing for gods sake, one of the funniest Jews on earth!.
You have to get into it really, and character empathy is a big part of it. If you don't like the Kitchy(sp?) relationship between the characters then it really wont be for you. I personally do :), and if I was stuck on a desert island I would feel desperately lost without my seinfeld collection.

Summer of George is one of my faves too.. "FROLF Jerry!".

I was in the pool!

My name is Art Van De Lay! Im an Architect :)

Personally Kramer was my fave character, so many funny moments and his lack of tact in situations was classic.

Who could forget the immortal line, "well your as good looking as any other girl. . . . . . . just need a nosejob!"
