BLOODY BRILLIANT!!!

We have been trialling a service that is an MS Outlook Plug-In that allows the sender to add, amongst other things, an "open & reading" time limit to e.mails that are sent - the coolest feature is the countdown to destruction - love it!

Once opened the recipient has xx number of seconds to read the contents before its automatically deleted - with the only trace being that you actually sent an e.mail!

www.readnotify.com - it comes with loads of other tracking and time-based features too!

the e.mail is delivered as normal - but you have to click a link for the actual message which is displayed as a time-limited webpage with a countdown!!!

Lots of fun to be had OR if you want to say something to someone but leave no proof etc!

You can also set the e.mail to be unprintable etc BUT you can always do a screen-shot if you know whats coming and you are quick!!!

who wants to recieve a self-destruct e.mail from me to show you how it works?

I am almost out of my free-trial e.mails and will be signing up for a proper account.

I learnt this morning that you also have to add your aliases to your account before it will allow you to send an e.mail from another account that you have too!

Not quite sure I understand the point of this, the email is going to be stored on the mail server as well as being sent to the client who can just printscreen it or recover the deleted email unless it overwrites itself.
