Self-installing wired network cables

Hi all

Can anyone give me a rough idea how much is would cost (and what is actually needed!) to install a network cable from my router to room with the PC in.

I'm thinking the wire will go up through the wall, through the loft and back down the wall. The wire wouldn't need to be longer than 10m.

Tools:
Snips
Krone (Or 'Krone type') Punch Down tool
Test Tool (Cheap ones work fine, but its entirely optional whether you use one or not)
Drill and bits
Hammer/Chisel - If you intend to sink the backboxes into the wall/cavity.

Materials:
Length of solid core Cat5e
2 x RJ45 faceplate + backing boxes
Cable ties (Some faceplates come with their own)
Suitable rawlplugs

Cost....no idea.

Cost between £5.00 per point to £50.00 per point. Depends how good quality kit you use cat5e/cat6 e.t.c and if you have any kit to install in the first place.
