Having finally got my new PC up and running - thanks again for the advice given - I'm looking to decide what to do with the left overs!

I have:

Gigabyte GA-K8NS Ultra 939 with AMD64 3200 and 1GB(2x512) of DDR400
1x40GB IDE (windowsXP)
CD-Writer
AGP NVIDIA 6600GT Dual DVI connected to a Compaq 15" CRT
600W PSU - Zalman
Keyboard and mouse
All sitting in a beige Chenbro case.

Would I be better just selling this as a unit or separating everything out and selling the parts? If the former, what would be a fair price and likewise for the latter.

I'm hoping I can get enough cash to buy a decent mobo with a view to getting a Quad core later this year.

Any comments appreciated please?

Cheers

Andy

i have a similar system, and i am likely to sell my agp graphics card seperate to the system (but i do have a space low-end card to go with it)

I'm tempted to keep it together as I have a couple of friends who could make use of it and the 6600GT is still quite nifty for a lot of games.

It's really the pricing I'm not sure on. Need to get a bit back to cover outlay on new system but want to give a good deal to whoever gets it.

Also need to bear in mind that any figure is also likely to include lifetime technical support

I would sell all of it seperately on Fleabay in one go.

More chance of the same person wanting more than one component off you.

You would get a decent enough price for a better mobo & used Quad with all that.

Yes. Having bought loads off the Bay over the last few years I've yet to summon up the courage to actually sell stuff! Maybe this is my chance. If I can get enough for the new kit I already have buyer for my E2200 and ASROCK mobo.

I'd thought maybe £100 for selling the lot as a working system?

Suppose a bit of 'Bay searching will give me an idea on component values.
